Create a Living Legacy of Prayer and Faith
The Marianist Family--sisters,
brothers, priests and laity--serve people all over the world
in many ways
Marianist ministries are serving communities worldwide in
diverse ways including: empowering through education, building
strength and healing in family relationships, helping the environment
and building lives through loans.
Creating a lasting and living legacy with the Marianist Mission
allows you to put your beliefs into action. Carefully considered
acts of generosity enhance your spiritual journey, preserve
your estate for future generations, and ensure the future of
an organization whose work is important to you.
We look forward to discussing your personal concerns and ways
the Marianist Mission can be of service. The illustrations on
this website will help familiarize you with the benefits of
giving through a variety of life income gift plans.
To discuss your thoughts and wishes, please feel free to contact
Brother
Jim Brown, legacy giving administrator, Mrs.
Kay Burns, legacy giving steward, or Carol
Gauder, legacy giving assistant Monday through Friday, 9
a.m. to 4 p.m (eastern time zone), 937-222-4641. Or call toll
free, M-F, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. (Eastern
Time), 1-800-348-4732.
Giving is a way for communities to pull
together. The brightness of faith and its ways of uplifting
does much for many.
Thank you for being our faith partner.

Tax Tips Relating to Charitable Giving
- Charitable gifts of cash are generally deductible in amounts up to 50% of adjusted gross income (AGI), and are deductible up to 30% of AGI for gifts of appreciated property.
- When appreciated securities are donated to The Marianist Mission, you are entitled to a deduction for full value, not just the original cost. Your tax deduction then is based on "paper profits" you have not yet realized. If securities have decreased in value, consider selling them--thereby creating a loss for tax purposes--and offer the cash proceeds as tax deductible gifts.
- Consider making larger gifts in the years when you have more income and will be in a higher tax bracket. The higher your tax bracket, the greater the savings from your charitable gifts.
IRA Rollover Gifts
If you are over age 70½, you may rollover up to $100,000 annually from your IRA to our organization. To learn more about IRA Rollover Gifts, click the Launch button to watch a brief video.
